My Bio
I'm Jai, from a small city in Southern Ontario. Currently a London, Ontario resident. Completed a year and a half at the University of Windsor in Visual Arts. Recent graduate of the University of Guelph, Ridgetown Campus' Veterinary Office Administration program. I am a self-taught tattoo artist. Have been tattooing for just over 4 months so far and am in progress on my portfolio.

checked out your gallery, definitely keep referencing from life. Always, always carry your sketchbook and pencils and draw every chance you get. Make it a priority. As far as the tattooing, try and get into a shop with someone who has been tattooing for at least 10 or 15 years. The learning curve is so much easier when you have someone whos been doing forever guiding you. I know you are going to keep tattooing regardless and the best advice there is to keep it small, only tattoo something that will fit under the palm of your hand, it will make it much easier to learn and concentrate on the technical side of things without being overwhelmed by large sizable tattoos that will get you in over your head quickly.
